ECE (Electronics & Communication Engineering)

                           The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 2008 with an intake of  90 students . The department consists of departmental computer centre with internet facility, sophisticated staff rooms, departmental library, Departmental seminar hall, ECE workshop, tutorial rooms and classrooms with modern teaching aids.

                             A highly experienced and dedicated faculty imparts quality trainings to students, with great emphasis being laid on understanding the fundamentals and applying it to solve the challenging problems.

                          The Department is rated as one of the best departments in the Private Sector and is attracting top rankers in EAMCET. The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty which also includes advanced facilities like LCD for effective teaching.

                              The Electronics & Communication Engineering course is the most opted course in today’s scenario. It offers four year programme, which aims at keeping in pace with modern technology and recent trends. Starting from the basics in Electronics the course surfs through vital aspects of sprouting areas like high speed VLSI, Embedded systems, Cellular communications, satellite communications, micro wave and optical communication

                                The staff members are deputed to participate in workshops, conferences, symposia and refresher courses to keep in pace with recent developments in the field of Electronics & Communications Engineering.

                             Our students have been awarded in many of the paper contests. Most of the students actively participate in National-level Student Paper Contests which are held at various Engineering Colleges.

EEE (Electrical and Electronics Engineering)

                             Electrical & Electronics Engineering Association, ELEA electrifies the campus with the highest degree of enthusiasm by organizing student seminars, Technical and General Quiz, debates and discussions etc. In addition to this the department arranges educational tours every year to places worth visiting like nuclear, thermal and Hydro electric generating stations.

                             The department of EEE is built with excellent infrastructure and curriculum which prepares the pupil to face the emerging challenges in the field of Electrical & Electronics Engineering. The department is housed with full fledged lab facilities to train the students and to meet the industrial requirement based on University syllabus. Computer lab is with sufficient number of Computer systems & simulation software for the benefit of students to validate their ideas and also for their projects.

                               The staff members are deputed to participate in workshops, conferences, symposia and refresher courses to keep in pace with recent developments in the field of Electrical  &  Electronics  Engineering.

CSE (Computer Science & Engineering)

                                 The Department of Computer Science & Engineering was established in the year 2008 with an intake of 90 students.

                                  The CSE wing consists of departmental computer centre, departmental library with internet facility, CSE seminar hall, computer labs consisting of 60 terminals with latest configurations (P-IV systems). All the labs are LAN connected operating on different operating systems such as Windows NT, MSDOS, Windows -98 and Unix. The software’s available in the lab are MS Office, flash, latex etc. The languages software provided in the labs are C, C++, JAVA, VC++, ADVANCED, JAVA, COBOL, ORACLE11i, UML, and SQL. Facilities are available for uninterrupted power supply (UPS) in all the labs.

                                  The department has well qualified and experienced faculty members. The staff members are encouraged to participate in workshops, conferences, and symposiums to keep in track with current innovative technologies and developments. Most of the faculty members are doing their Ph.D. research  

                                    Besides, theoretical research, faculty in the department also network with many reputed national and international companies and are involved in a number of projects in the areas of cutting edge technologies. The department has a separate building and all necessary resources like multimedia classrooms, computer labs and a unique laptop lab. Some of the most highly advanced as well as the most popular software packages are being studied by the students.

The faculty in the department consists of senior and well experienced Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors with PhD & MTech qualifications. An experience System Administrator and well-qualified lab staff take care of the installation and maintenance of the software and the conduct of Labs.

Another added advantage is the emphasis laid on student exposure to prevalent Information Technology practices and realities, which the course curriculum takes care of. Also, industry visits and seminars are also organized regularly for the benefit of the students. The teaching methodology at MKITW concentrates on bridging theory and practice, including a wide variety of hardware and software technologies and their applications. The methodology is designed to equip students with the fundamental understanding and practical skills needed by the potential leaders of a demanding profession. It is training in logical thought and expression, and can lead to employment in many different fields.

Information Technology underpins this revolution, bringing together an understanding of the scientific and technological foundations of computing, hardware and software methods, and information and communication technologies.

Realizing the need for bridging the gap between the demand and supply for software professionals in the corporate world. It is the most preferred course for many young aspirants in the field of software engineering. The institute offers the state of the art Labs and expert faculty who have rich experience in the software industry.

MBA (Masters of Business Administration)

                              Master of Business Administration (MBA) program was established in the year 2009 with an intake of 60 students. The Business Administration Course aims to build on the foundations of work experience and by providing new skills and knowledge, to enable the student to make the transition to a higher level of responsibility. The Management and Staff are putting unrest efforts to provide quality education.

The staff members use highly sophisticated equipments such as LCD monitors for effective teaching. The department has well qualified and experienced faculty members. The staff members are encouraged to participate in workshops, conferences, symposiums and national level management meets to keep in track with current innovative technologies and developments.

Focus is laid on knowledge development through curriculum as per JNTU guidelines. Skill development programme are initiated by calling outside experts who take up the responsibilities of giving the necessary inputs as an ongoing program throughout the academic year.

To gain hands on experience with the industry, students are exposed to project work in the final semester. This helps them strengthen their employability quotient. To reinforce the department strength faculty members are deputed to FIP to update their knowledge. Workshops and seminars are arranged to enhance the knowledge of the students.

The department is credited with conducting entrepreneurship development programs in collaboration with MSME, Govt of India and NEN. Besides, the department is the first one which has been selected by MSME to launch the programme. In view of the global economic scenario and industrial requirements, various programs are tailor made to enable the students to fit into the social needs.

Our course curricula delivers the essential knowledge of business function - accounting, finance, marketing, organizational behavior, operations, business law - helping shape the students’ capacity to think both functionally and systematically.

So, when students graduate, they know how to deal well with situations at hand, but also understand the more important aspects of making business decisions. It attracts people from a wide range of academic disciplines. The institute offers a postgraduate degree in management which is recognized in India.

In the MBA program, student teams participate in different industrial tours that benefit the student community and local service organizations to bring greater awareness among the people.  The service project is a required part of orientation week for students in the MBA program in the college. The orientation focuses on team building and learning practical skills for effectively working in and managing a team.

 

H & S(Humanities & Science)

Humanities and Basic Sciences Department is the soul of the college. The Department was established in the Academic year 2008 to teach various disciplines of U.G and P.G courses. The department has highly qualified and well experienced faculty who holds highest educational qualifications such as two of the professors has Ph. D holders, M. Phil holders and M. Tech holders etc. The Department has four laboratories; they are English language communication skills lab, physics lab, chemistry lab and engineering lab with state of the art equipment.

The Humanities Department provides effective communication skills to all students irrespective of disciplines to enhance their communicative ability and caliber to compete with corporate competition. The department organizes different services which includes programs like N.S.S program, services where students going to rural areas.

Humanities & Sciences Department is a Supporting Department to all Engineering Branches, MBA and Departments. Here the Students are exposed to Basic Sciences like Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in addition to English and Environmental Science.

To be an academic unit devoted to the dissemination of knowledge, from an interdisciplinary perspective, to empower the students of Engineering and Management.

Contribute to the all-round development of the students by providing them extensive counseling & guidance in terms of education and career oriented problems.

Enhance the employability of the students by providing training in Communication Skills, Soft Skill and Personality Development.

Provide opportunities to prepare for GRE, TOEFL and IELTS by encouraging them to utilize the state-of-the-art English Communication Skills Laboratory.

The department was established in the year 2008. The Department has a comprehensive Physics Lab supported by experienced faculty. Care is taken for the regular maintenance of each laboratory through a lab in-charge, assisted by a laboratory assistant.

Maths

Mathematics department is very rich in experience. This department has contributed enormously to the success of MKITW in Academic, Administrative and Extra-curricular activities.

This department is organizing a club, where all lovers of Mathematics meet weekly once in the last period on Monday. Some of the activities are "lectures on basic concepts, quizzes, expert lectures, seminars by students etc.

English and Economics.

 The well established Language Laboratories, supported by well experienced faculty, make the department one of its kind in the state. The Department has carved a unique niche by offering various value-added courses. They provide training in communication and interpersonal skills, accent neutralization, soft skills and presentation skills to mention a few. The Department also provides consulting and training services to industry.

The Phonetics & Interactive communication skills laboratories help students develop English skills, enriching their interpersonal skills, enhancing their confidence levels and marginalizing their first language influence. The language laboratories are of particular significance to foreign students who are not native speakers of English.
